It was a non traditional Easter dinner in a non traditional year. After having it, we might make it our traditional Easter dinner. We had the Prime rib cap, Medium rare, scalloped potatoes and asparagus with Hollandaise sauce. The Prime Rib was cooked to perfection having a crusted top that added to the flavor of the meat. The herb butter increased its decadence. The scalloped potatoes were cheesy and just melted in your mouth. The asparagus was tender and the sauce was divine. My family except for me is a key lime pie fans but I changed my mind after one bite. It was the best I ever tasted with a creaminess combined with the lime. Old Brea Chop House is our place to go for those special occasions and a very good Happy Hour.
My wife said that she preferred this over the rib eye 🙄, which is saying alot.
The potatoes were soft and flavorful. The grilled onions were a plus!
This mac n cheese was so flavorful. The crust on top added an extra layer of flavor and crunch.
My husband's words "this is legit."
One of the best rib eyes I've had. Seasoned and cooked to perfection. Melted in my mouth. 🤤
Although this dish was simple, the garlic still stood out from being sautéed.
Good combination of marrow supplemented with greens
